What Unleashed costs in the United Kingdom
Unleashed publishes a genuine pound rate card for UK buyers rather than a US dollar price converted at the day's exchange rate, so the figures on this page are the ones a UK business is actually quoted. There are two plans. Core is £269/mo (Core, 3 users) and Pro is £499/mo (Pro, 5 users). Both are monthly-billed prices that exclude applicable taxes, and both carry a 14-day free trial. Every price on this page is read live from our database rather than typed in by hand.
Paying for a year up front lowers the monthly equivalent on both plans. We quote the monthly-billed price because it is the one you can walk away from with 30 days' notice, and because it is the basis the comparison table and calculator use for every provider. If you already know you will keep Unleashed for a year, the annual price is worth asking for.
Core or Pro: where the line falls
The two plans share the same inventory engine: multi-warehouse management, purchasing, sales orders, batch tracking and native accounting integrations with Xero, QuickBooks. What changes between them is capacity and modules.
Capacity. Core includes three user licences and three basic integrations; Pro includes five of each. Pro also doubles the monthly API call allowance, which matters if you run a busy Shopify or WooCommerce connection. Both plans carry the same sales order allowance, so moving to Pro does not by itself buy you more orders.
Modules. This is where the real decision sits. Four modules are optional paid add-ons on Core and included free on Pro:
- Advanced Inventory Manager, for forecasting and material requirements planning
- Production, for bills of materials and assembly
- Warehouse Management and Multi-Bin, for picking, packing and receiving across bin locations with barcode scanning
- Access Analytics, the reporting suite
The practical test is simple. Add up Core, the modules you would actually switch on, and any user licences you need above three. If that total approaches the Pro price, Pro gives you those modules and two extra licences for the same money. A distributor that only needs stock control and purchasing will usually stay on Core. A manufacturer that needs Production and forecasting should price Pro first.
What adds to the bill
The headline price is where an Unleashed bill starts, not where it ends. Five things move it.
Extra users. Each licence above the plan's allowance is a monthly per-seat charge, set higher on Pro than on Core. It is also the charge our calculator models: change the Users figure and the estimate moves with it.
Sales orders. Both plans include a monthly sales order allowance. Go over it and Unleashed adds a paid order bundle to your account in the following months, stepping up through larger bundles to an unlimited tier. For a high-volume ecommerce seller this can be the largest line on the bill, and it is not something our calculator costs, because it depends on your order volume rather than your team. Unleashed invites businesses selling through Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, Lightspeed or similar channels to book a chat with its team about their requirements, which is the moment to get an order-volume figure.
Integrations. Core includes three basic integrations and Pro five. Each one above that is a monthly charge.
Modules. Beyond the four that Pro includes, a B2B eCommerce Store, Sales Growth, Marketing Accelerator, CRM and an Advanced Shipping Module are optional paid extras on both plans. Warehouse scanning devices are charged per device.
Storage and API calls. Both plans include file storage and a monthly API call allowance, with more of each available to buy. Most small teams never touch these.
Warehouses are the one thing that does not add cost. Multi-warehouse management is included on both plans, with no charge per location.
What rivals charge, and what they charge for
The comparison strip at the top of this page lists entry prices side by side, but entry prices in inventory software are built on different shapes, so read what each one includes before comparing the numbers.
Cin7 Core starts at £261/mo, with user allowances by plan of 5 (Standard), 10 (Pro), 15 (Advanced), and warehouses are Included (unlimited locations on all plans). It bills in US dollars, so the pound figure moves with the exchange rate, where Unleashed's does not. Our Cin7 Core vs Unleashed comparison goes through the two in detail.
Katana starts at £223/mo. Its user allowance reads Unlimited (Core and free plan), so a larger team does not pay per seat, but locations are the other way round: Extra locations billed on usage (rate quoted per account). Katana also bills in US dollars and is built around manufacturing.
Zoho Inventory starts at Free / £25/mo, and its paid price is quoted on annual billing, so it is not on the same basis as the monthly-billed Unleashed figure. It suits a small team that does not need bills of materials (No).
Because each of these scales on something different (users, locations, orders or modules), the honest comparison is at your own numbers. The calculator at the top of this page costs every provider at the team size and warehouse count you enter.
Who Unleashed suits
Unleashed is built for product-based businesses that have outgrown the inventory features in their accounting software, particularly wholesalers, distributors and light manufacturers already running Xero. It suits a team that wants stock held across several warehouses without paying per location, and that values a UK pound rate card over a dollar price that moves every month. Pro makes most sense for a manufacturer that needs Production and forecasting together.
Where Unleashed falls short
There is no free plan, and Unleashed is priced for a business with a team and a warehouse to run, so a sole trader or a very small shop should compare the entry prices in the table at the top of this page before starting a trial.
Sales order bundles are the cost that surprises people. A business whose order volume runs well past the included allowance should get an order-volume quote before committing, because that line can outweigh the plan price.
Point of sale is not built in. Unleashed connects to till systems through integrations rather than shipping its own, so a retailer with physical tills will be running a second system. And most of the advanced capability sits in modules, which means the Core headline is a starting price rather than a total for many buyers.
How we priced this
Every price on this page is read from our database at page load, and the database is populated from Unleashed's own UK pricing page, read from a UK connection so that we see the pound rate card a UK buyer sees rather than the Australian or US version the same page serves elsewhere. We quote monthly-billed prices excluding applicable taxes, the basis Unleashed publishes. Our cost engine ranks providers purely on published rates. We earn a commission if you sign up to Unleashed through our link, and we also earn from other providers in this comparison, which is exactly why the ranking does not move for any of them.
