Pento is a modern UK payroll platform built around automation: it runs payroll, files RTI to HMRC, and submits pension contributions with minimal manual work, on a clean per-employee monthly price. It is HMRC-recognised, handles pension auto-enrolment with The People's Pension and others, and integrates with Xero, QuickBooks and Sage. Pento was acquired by HR platform HiBob in 2024 and is being folded toward the wider HiBob suite, while remaining usable as standalone UK payroll. It targets standard PAYE rather than construction, so CIS is not a focus.
